Payment Policies
  • Payments for NEW Clients are due upon signing service agreement.

  • Established Clients will be billed after sit on the 1st and /or 15th of every
    month.
  • Payment Terms amount due in 15 days of invoice date.  Clients with a history
    of late payments will be required to pay in advance before departure.    Poochie
    Mama may discontinue services for Clients who have an unpaid balance of 30 days or
    more, until balance is paid in full.  In the event to initiate collections proceedings on
    the account, the Client will be responsible for all attorney's fees and costs of
    collections.

  • Late Payments will incur a $5 fee (For every 15 days late).  

  • Key Pick up and Drop off $5 fee. ( pick up fee will not incur if picked up at time
    of consultation.  If picked up after said time the $5 fee will apply.)

  • Keys will ONLY be delivered in person.

  • Ready Key Program $1 a month.  

  • Last Minute Booking fee $7 ( less than 48 hours notice)

  • Holiday Fee $7  ( flat rate fee added to your daily services)  for observed
    holidays below:

  • After Hours Fee $7
         (before 7am or after 9 pm, fee is added to  visit made)

  • Emergency Services Fee is $25 per hour
         ( includes transportation to vet/emergency vet hospital and wait)

  • Pet Taxi Service Fee is $25 per hour


  • We accept cash payments

  • Checks are accepted.  Their will be a  $35 handling fee for insufficient funds on a
    check.

  • All fees are subject to change at any time.
Policies
  • Poochie Mama reserves the right to deny services to any animal that shows
    aggressive behaviors.

  • Most Visits preformed shall be made by Poochie Mama ( Cynthia Webster).  Poochie
    Mama's husband does come on all night time visits.  He also does help out on peak
    seasons and holidays and may work these visits alone.  He is also Poochie Mama's back
    up when she is sick and unable to work.  In the case of both Poochie Mama and her
    hubby being sick or go on vacation,   you will be contacted immediately and clients will
    be able to choose for coverage with a Poochie Mama approved temporary help person
    or another pet sitting company from the area.

  • Poochie Mama will not be held responsible for ANY damage caused by your pet.  
         (i.e carpet stains,  scratched wallpaper, bite moulding, scratched furniture etc.)

  • Poochie Mama will not be held responsible for pets who escape due to inadequate
    fencing,  broken fences, digging holes under fences, no secure locks on fence, or
    anyone adult or child or service (gardeners) opening fences.

  • Poochie Mama requires that all pets have their vaccinations up to date.                         
    (unless medical reasons permit, proof must be shown).  

  • Poochie Mama requires pets to have an I.D tag with their current address and phone
    number or dog license in case of emergencies.

  • In the event of an emergency, Poochie Mama will take your pooch to the
    vet/emergancy vet hospital of your choice stipulated in your service agreements.  
    Poochie Mama will call as soon as ANY emergency happens and will keep you updated
    while Poochie Mama waits at the vet/emergency vet hospital.  

  • Poochie Mama requires all emergency information and contacts to be up to date
    before your departure.

  • Poochie Mama requests that you call us if any of your arrival information has changed.  


  • Poochie Mama requests vacation clients to call upon your arrival to your home so we
    know your pets are safe, and no more visits are required.    ( If we do not receive a
    call letting us know you are home, we will continue to make  visits for your pets
    safety.  As we assume you are still away.  The extra visits will be added to your
    bill.)  Mid Day clients are the exception to this policy when using Mid Day services.

  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours before visit.  Cancellations made with
    less than 48 hours notice will  be charged.   Cancellations can be made by phone
    call,  by written note or  by emailing Poochie Mama.

  • Cancellations for Holiday services are NON REFUNDABLE.

  • Poochie Mama may take pictures of your poochie and place them her website, and use
    for advertising with consent form from client.  Clients can ask to be given or sent via
    email any pictures taken.

  • One Discount per visit.

  • Poochies with NO outdoor access require a minimum of 2 visits per day.

  • Poochie Mama only does 1 daily visit per day for Poochies with doggie doors
    and outside pooches ONLY. Also for clients starting their services on a PM visit.

  • Mid Day Walks are only M-F between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm.

  • Mid Day Services are 30 minutes in length,  but the walks if requested may be 15-25
    minutes  depending on weather conditions.                     
         (excessive heat, rain, wind, snow, hail  etc.)  

  • Poochie Mama does not take requested appointment times.  She has many poochies to
    take care of that may take priority over others (i.e. Indoor dogs, dogs needing
    medications, senior dogs, special needs dogs, and puppies).  Unexpected weather,  
    holidays,  and  emergencies may also cause  delays.  Poochie Mama  uses her best
    judgment and considers clients requested time when making her schedule.   Poochie
    Mama tries her best to accommodate those times and usually can reach the time
    request anywhere from one to three hours.

  • Poochie Mama must be informed of any person with access to home ( i.e. , maid,
    neighbor, children, family members, gardener, handyman).  Poochie Mama will not
    enter an occupied home.    Poochie Mama will call the police on all intruders or
    suspicious acts without exception.  Poochie Mama will not be held responsible for any
    damages incurred to your home or dog(s) by said visitors.   So please inform Poochie
    Mama of anyone with access to your home while you are away!

  • Poochie Mama is not responsible for any stains made from the use of chemicals we
    provide or you provide to clean up your pooches messes.

  • Poochie Mama service rates and fees are subject to change at any time.

  • Poochie Mama reserves the right to refuse service to anyone or andy pooch.
