doggies.

How many times do you see them each day?
-That all depends on how many visits you may want to book for your dog.  I can do up to 4  visits
per day.

-With so many doggies to care for and all of them on different diets, I do not provide food for
them.  I do request you leave enough food for your own doggie.  If your doggies runs out of food
or supplies while you are away I will make an errand to  get some for you.  I do charge an Errand
Fee of $25 per hour plus the items I purchased.  So please make sure you leave enough food &
supplies!

-Established Clients will be billed after the sit and payment is due promptly 15 days from
receipt.
-Clients with a history of late payments will be required to pay in advance before departure.
Poochie Mama may discontinue services for Clients who have an unpaid balance of 30 days or
more, until balance is paid in full.  In the event to initiate collections proceedings on the
account, the Client will be responsible for all late fee's, attorney's fees and costs of
collections.

How many days or weeks will you sit?
-Well that all depends on how long you would like to book your service for.  We have no
restrictions.
We are open year round 24/7.   Any time off for vacations Poochie Mama takes will be posted
ahead of time in the
NEWS section and Poochie Mama will send out postcards to all clients to
notify them!

Does my dog have to be up to date on his vaccinations?
-Yes, we require all our poochies to be up to date on their vaccinations, for their own health and
safety for others.  Unless for their safety they are unable to be vaccinated, then I will just
need proof from a veterinarian.  If you require doggie to go to a dog park then your pooch needs
to be up to date on his/her Bordetella shot for kennel cough, this shot needs to be updated
every 6 months, for any dog who is around with other dogs that are not part of their family.

What provisions have been made in the event something happens to you and your not able
to get to my pets?
-If the case of illness or an emergency, my husband will take over my duties.  He is covered
under my insurance and  is wonderful with animals and trained by me, Poochie Mama.  In the
case that both of us are not able to care for your dogs we will first notify you, then we both
can come to a decision on caring for your pets with either an approved Poochie Mama temorary
help employee or another pet sitter of your choice in the area, to take over until we can return.

How much notice do you generally need?
-I would like to have at least 2 weeks notice, in the case where that is not possible at least 48
hours.  If you call with less than 48 hours notice and I do have an opening there  will be a Last
Minute Booking Fee of $7 plus your visits.

What happens if I cancel my trip?
-All fees are non refundable if cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.  Current clients will
be billed for these sits cancelled without 48 hours notice.  If you cancel with
more than 48
hours
notice then you will be refunded ( not charged on your statement for current clients).
Cancellations on Holidays are non refundable!
We do not refund any Holiday Cancellations.  We save a spot for you during our busiest season,
and if you cancel it takes away from other clients.

When will you return my house keys?
-Keys will be returned at the end of the sitting job when you have called me with your arrival.  I
only hand deliver keys in person, to assure you have received your key.  Delivering your key will
assess a $5 drop off key fee.  If you wish to have future visits there will be a pick up key fee
of $5.  I highly recommend my Ready Key Program to avoid all those Drop off/Pick up Fees,  for
$12 a year, thats $1 a month!  I can hold on to your key, which will be coded and in a safe for
anti theft deterrent.  The Ready Key program is perfect for the Established Client.  Avoid the
$5 pick up/$5drop off key fees!  Its also works wonderful for clients who are on the go with
last minute notice!  We can also bring you your house keys in case you have forgotten or lost
your keys. So take advantage of our Ready Key program!

If my dog becomes ill will you take him to my vet or yours?
-In case of emergency where your doggie needs medical care, Poochie Mama will make every
effort to follow your instructions on which veterinary clinic to bring your  companion.  If in the
case the authorized veterinary clinic you have selected is not available,  I will then make the
best judgement  decision for your pet.  As authorized by  your signature on the veterinary
release form.  The best of care will be taken and you  will be the first to be notified in any
such case.   Please also let your veterinarian know that you will be leaving for a trip.

Are you covered by Insurance?  Are you Bonded?
-Poochie Mama is Fully Insured!  I am insured by Pet Sitters Associates.
Documentation provided upon request!

Will it be you or someone else coming in for the visits?
-Poochie Mama  will be the one providing services.   During the holiday seasons or peak seasons
my husband Poochie Papa does help with visits.   He also does accompany me on most evening
visits for my safety.  Unless I become ill or have an emergency then my  husband will take over
my duties.  In the case of the both of us not being able to care for your dogs,  I will contact you
first and then we can both decide on either an approved temorary help employee or make
arrangements with another Pet Sitter to follow your instructions.

Do you provide overnight service?
-I do not provide overnight services at this time.

Do you provide every other day services?
-I do not provide every other day services for the safety of your pet.  I like to check in on
them at least once every day to make sure they are doing just fine!

Do you work on Holidays?
-Poochie Mama does work on Holidays.  We also charge a $7 Holiday fee for the day  plus the
visits.  So if you have 2 visits on Christmas day your total will be:
$15 + $15 + $7 = $37 Christmas Day  (example only)

          Christmas Day
         New Years Eve

What are you visiting hours?
-Visiting Hours are:           7am - 10am

      2pm - 4pm

      7pm - 9pm

-Mid Day Walks:              11am - 1pm

Any visits before 7am and after 9pm will result in an After Hours fee of $7 added to
your visits.  These times may vary due peak seasons, holidays or emergencies.

Can you come at a specific time?
I will try and accommodate your specific needs, but I may not always be able to arrive at that
specific time.  I usually allow myself up to a 3 hour  time slot of your specific appointment. I do
have a busy daily schedule, if I have time I will surely do my best to meet your specific time.
If not I will try to get it as close as possible to your needs and my schedules allows.

Will you come visit my pets the same time every day?
-I will try and make your dogs visits about the same time every day, depending upon my
schedule.  (example, If yesterday I came to your home at 1pm, Today I will try my best to be
there at the same time, although their may be another clients dog that may need some kind of
medication,  a senior pet or is an indoor dog,  Then this pet would take priority.  The holidays
and peak  seasons may also have an effect as well to my scheduling. ) I will try to accommodate
all my clients needs.  Visits will take place anywhere between my visiting hours, I will do my
best to try and make them close to the same hours they are accustomed to.

Will anyone accompany you to my home?
-I usually work alone during the day.  At times my husband may come with me during the day to
meet your pet and also learn my routine specialized for your pet, in case he has to help me
during the peak / holiday seasons.  In this case that my  husband will be helping me with  visits.
My husband usually  accompanies me in the evening visits for my safety.

Can you E-mail me with information on how my pet is doing?
-Yes I  sure can email you!  Just let me know of this request and also remember to  give me
your email address.  You may also call me at anytime to ask me about how your  dog is doing!

Will you take in my newspaper and mail?  Do you charge extra for this?
-We do provide this service and the their is no charge.  One reason for having a dog  sitter is
for the anti theft deterrent.  Your house will look occupied.  No newspapers will  be all over you
lawn and the lights will alternate in your house on each visit.  Blinds can be rotated and the
radio and TV can be turned on and off.  Also having someone like a dog sitter enter your home
will most assuredly ward off any intruders as they  would know the home is occupied.

Why do you need 2 sets of house keys?
-I require 2 sets of house keys for your pets safety.  Have you ever lost your keys or  locked
then in the house with you standing outside.  Just in case we want to be prepared  to care for
your pet.  If this ever happens, I can run home and grab the second set of  keys which are
locked in a safe and return to care for your pet.

What is PSI and NAPPS, what are they about?
-PSI is Pet Sitters International and NAPPS is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters
Both are associations for pet sitters to join.  I am a member of PSI, Pet Sitters International.
Pet Sitters and Pet Owners may get information from these sites.   Especially  if your looking
for a pet sitter.  You can get information on pet sitters in  your area.

I don't know my neighbors, So who can I add as my contact?
-If you have any local relatives you may add them as your contact.  You can also ask your local
veterinarian if you may add them as your contact.  If you have any friends that you would
entrust your pets care to then you may add them as well.  But please inform who ever you have
written down as your local contact that you have done so, just in case we call so they aren't
surprised.

Should I inform my Veterinarian that I am going on vacation and will be using a pet
sitter, in case of an emergency?
-We do recommend that you do notify your veterinarian that you will be away and a pet sitter is
in caring for your pet.  They can put it on file and just in case of anything they will be aware if
your pet needs to be seen by the veterinarian.  We also recommend that when leaving the
country, clients inform their veterinarians as well leave a payment option.  Poochie Mama is not
responsible for any veterinary bills.  So please  do inform your local veterinarian.  We also
require to have their information on file as well.
